After the hysteria waned, Ukrainians are no longer advancing into Kursk. It can be predicted with a reasonable degree of certainty that Russia will retake full control of Sudzha.

Despite the number of changing dynamics on the battlefields, especially in Donetsk, the Russians have been advancing on reclaimed Ukrainian territory at 100 to 150 kilometers per month on average. While neither is Donetsk Kursk nor Kursk Donetsk, at Russia’s current pace, Russia may retake full control of Sudzha within one to three months time.
