The Alignment of Prospective Forces in a Civil War

America’s impending bankruptcy from its irreversible Federal debt is the primary basis upon which one can forecast the alignment of forces for a civil war in the United States of America. The disintegration of the American political system is already underway with factions of the ruling elite brokering the development of power structures throughout the country.

These power structures are all at odds with the decisive factors of local, State or Federal governments, who will not be able to pay the ‘armed bodies of the State’ after bankruptcy. The result is that the fractures developing within America are tending towards the alignment of forces based on who can pay. The limiting factor in who can pay is the role of the dollar. Should the dollar fail to provide good coin, the ability of rich American oligarchs to support the development of power structures weakens.

It is not difficult to determine at the current stage who can pay or not. It is difficult at the stage of America’s bankruptcy to predict who will be able to pay or not. The dollar, which is losing its status across the globe, is a bastion of power under threat not only from around the world but from the people below the ruling elites, who rely upon the dollar for payments from work. The dollar may not be the instrument with which payments can be made after an American bankruptcy.

It is only a matter of time, however, before the United States of America, which must pay $2 Billion a day to service its debt, can no longer make payments on its own debt. It may not be tomorrow, next week, or a year or two from now. But it is coming. It is coming like nothing ever seen before in the history of the world.
