A company of Russian Su-57 fighter jets, whose production line is allegedly so flawed as to deprive the aircraft of several sorely needed Western parts, somehow managed to hammer Odessa last night with a fierce bombing campaign. The bombing campaign resulted in the destruction of several facilities critical for Ukraine’s dilapidated energy infrastructure both in the city as well as throughout the country.
Ukraine’s Air Force stated that the Russians struck Odessa with four controlled aviation missiles H-59/69 from the Black Sea. While Ukrainians claimed to have taken down the four missiles, Russian sources indicated that just days earlier the Su-57s, of whose flight patterns Ukraine’s Air Force published no recorded aberrations, managed (miraculously) to strike a Ukrainian center for its defense industrial base.[1]
The fact that Ukraine’s Air Force has not published recorded aberrations of Russia’s Su-57 fighter jets in attacks on Odessa comes on the heels of a trove of documents published by an influential Ukrainian military blogger indicating that Russia is unable to source parts for its production lines on these jets. The blogger stated: “After reviewing an internal correspondence leak from a Russian military electronics plant “Mikropribor”, Frontelligence Insight, with data provided by @CyberResUa discovered that the production of the Su-57 is in jeopardy without access to crucial Western components.”
The reports, which contained no more than a single stamp with a signature, detailed a list of parts Russia can no longer source from the West due to sanctions. The sanctions program, the blogger sought to maintain, therefore prevents Russia from deploying its most advanced fighter jets for a lack of parts. The parts are allegedly the following: “WA36 Fixed Attenuator, EA-PS 3150, PLR7 60-12 power supplies, MPPU-50.” How Russia, which is a machinist’s haven, is unable to source these easily reproducible parts, the blogger does not say.
In unconfirmed reports published by both Ukrainian as well as Russian sources, the Su-57s, Russia’s most advanced fighter jets, struck, in some accounts, no less than four, in others no more than two, F-16s stationed at the Starokonstantinova air force base in the Khmelnytskyi region.
In at least one of these unconfirmed reports, an American instructor’s wife openly lamented the loss of her husband during the strike. If true, these reports would indicate that Russia eliminated Ukraine’s entire fleet of F-16s together with an American instructor, an unprecedented attack.
In response, the US announced that it will provide Ukraine with another PATRIOT long-range SAM battery. In addition, the US will also supply Ukraine with “hundreds” of additional PATRIOT and AMRAAM interceptors to down Russian drones, missiles, and aircraft launched into Ukraine. These pledges of support are the farthest America can spread the wings of its defense industry for Ukraine.
The Arabic news media recently announced Ukraine’s loss of a village in southern Donetsk called Ukrainsk. Located to the south of Mykhailivka, just east of Selydove, Ukrainians utilized the village to prevent a Russian encirclement of its troops.[2] After the fall of Ukrainsk, a pocket between Nevelske and the river Vovcha river developed.
Commenting on the ensuing encirclement, Nikolai Melnik, a high ranking Ukrainian with a wide following on social media, recently described himself as a ballerina in astonishment after Syrsky, whose reputation for ‘pocket resistance’ is without precedent in the annals of warfare on the Ostflanke, announced how the Russians had not advanced in the Pokrovsk direct “a single kilometer.”
Dancing around the Western media, Syrsky’s statement caused ‘shock and awe’ among Ukrainian commanders in the field, trenches, or those standing before the bullets flying out of rifles in the hands of rapidly advancing Russians. The fall of several villages in the Pokrovsk direction repudiated Syrsky’s statement.
These reports from both Arabic as well as Ukrainian news media suggest that Zelensky’s attempt to deliver a ‘victory plan’ is not only based on a fantastic delusion but outright denial. Zelensky’s ‘victory plan’ is a psychological defense mechanism against Ukraine’s inability to defend itself against Russia’s advance.
With Ukrainians becoming ballerinas or Su-57 fighter jets without parts hammering Odessa, the cruelty of U.S.-led NATO’s exploitation of the Ukrainian male population reaches new heights of madness.
