The Israeli-Lebanese War: The Litani River I

The overall length of the Israeli-Lebanese war depends upon the time the Israelis take to reach the right bank of the Litani river. The initial thrust shall be a Panzerkiel of mechanized, radio controlled armor under the cover of closed air support 20 to 25 kilometers into Lebanon’s C sector in a surprise, lightening offensive under the cover of complete darkness. Guarded by American carrier strike groups off the coast, the established fire control from the sea shall deprive Lebanon’s C-sector of air defense, artillery, or reconnaissance. The amount of firepower within the first 24 hours shall be unlike anything the Middle East has witnessed in any previous war in its history.
