It is clear from the most recent events in Russia’s northern shaping operation in the Kharkiv offensive that the northeastern sector of Vovchansk, over which the Russians assert not only fire control but local air superiority, is a Venus FAB trap in which Ukrainians perish by the day.

The number of these extraordinarily lethal bombs dropped on the northeastern sector, as according to Ukrainian milbloggers, has become more than five. Many Ukrainians, who not otherwise have had to die, have died.

It doesn’t make sense from a military standpoint why anyone would dispatch units into the north eastern part of Volchansk. It is clearly a meat-grinder. UKRs have done nothing there but die. The Russians have left the sector open as a Venus fly trap where UKRs have been snapped.
