Release Texeira Immediately!

A massive campaign is already underway to disorient workers away from a defense of Jack Texeira towards a call for his prosecution. The result of Texeira’s leak is the exposition of NATO war plans, the sum total of which debunk US government’s lies to American people about the Ukrainian war.

It is immaterial that Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is a fascistic Trump supporter, is voicing support for Mr. Texiera. In terms of various types of support, Texeira’s case is being compared to that of Reality Winner. There are significant differences, especially with respect to Winner’s report.

Winner, a former National Security Agent. In 2016, Reality Winner, who is expert in dialogues spoken in Persia Minor, transferred an report from the National Security Administration to the Intercept. The report described an alleged Russian military attempt to interfere with the 2016 presidential election by hacking a U.S. voting software supplier and by sending spear-phishing emails to more than 100 local election officials just days before the November 8 election.

In contrast with Texeira’s release, Winner’s release is problematic from an informational standpoint. The document she released, however, does not contain information commensurate with an exposition of the mechanics of the alleged Russian spear phishing campaign. It is not possible to reconstruction—the objective of a security analyst’s verification test—any aspect of the alleged Russian spear phishing campaign. No computer scientist or cybersecurity analysts, let alone a reasonable person, is capable of explaining to the public the basic elements of the alleged Russian spear phishing campaign from the details in the report Winner leaked to the public.

The Editor in Chief of the District Assembly closely examined Winner’s released document entitled, “Russia/Cybersecurity: Main Intelligence Directorate Cyber Actors “Target U.S. Companies and Local U.S. Government Officials Using Voter Registration – Themed Emails, Spoof Election-Related Products and Services, Research Absentee Ballot Email Addresses; August to November, 2016.” Apart from three hashes, not a single one of which appears in any of the registries for detected malware the editor ran, the report does not list any I.P. addresses. Winner’s report is absolutely useless information. The fact that the vast majority of the public is unaware of what a spear phishing campaign is not the problem. The problem with the document is that the document does not detail whether or not these alleged attacks were successful, resulted in any verifiable damage, or ultimately achieved its supposedly alleged cybersecurity objective.

The attempt to conflate a prospective motive for Texeira’s release with that Reality Winner is spurious. It fails to attend to the primary challenge facing the American working people. The primary challenge facing American working people with respect to leaks is the administration’s lies. In contrast with Winner’s release, Texeira’s release touches almost exclusively on the administration’s lies.

It is literally astonishing how nearly every single one of Biden’s major statements, the likes of which the 80 year old is hardly able to utter, about the Ukraine war, there is a contradiction. In a recent article, for instance, Andre Damon lists the statements that have become the subject of contradiction.

“The leaked documents showed that US President Joe Biden lied when he said, “I will not send American servicemen to fight in Ukraine.” In fact, over 70 US soldiers are deployed in Ukraine, alongside over 100 NATO special forces, according to the document.”

They also showed that the White House lied when it said, “NATO is not involved” in the conflict, as the documents do not make a distinction between efforts to train and lead Ukrainian forces and the other operations of NATO.

Texeira’s leak of Classified NATO documents on Ukrainian Armed Forces Leaked to the Public” provides evidence with which to prove objectively that the Biden administration is an administration of lies. Texeira’s release is, therefore, fundamentally different from Winner’s.

In his article, Damon mentions furthermore how White House national security spokesperson John Kirby called on the US media to exercise self-censorship, declaring, “This is information that has no business in the public domain. It has no business, if you don’t mind me saying, on the front pages of newspapers, or on television. It is not intended for public consumption, and it should not be out there.”

The interpretation of Kirby’s remarks is the following: Texeira’s leak of Classified NATO documents on Ukrainian Armed Forces Leaked to the Public should not be allowed, since American people are not allowed to have the information necessary for holding the government accountable for is essentially a vast government conspiracy to cover up a criminal war of aggression.

Working people must reject Kirby as much as they must reject the charges meted out against Texeira for his critical release of NATO’s war plans.

Texeira’s release of NATO’s war plans is significant. In terms of the Ukraine war, Texeira’s leak demonstrates the utter futility facing Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield, whom the United States has mobilized through the thoroughly corrupted Zelensky regime as mere cannon fodder. Ukrainians are dying on the battlefield of NATO’s war plans for nothing more than the achievement of NATO’s objectives in its war of aggression against Russia.

The appalling situation of Ukrainian soldiers, who are beginning to express disdain for their situation, are already voicing concerns over the Zelensky regime’s motives. In an article recently published to the Der Bild, the German daily, Jan Hunin, noted how, “Viele Soldaten fragen sich, wofür sie kämpfen?” The English translation is: “Many soldiers are asking themselves, what are we fighting for?” The author ends his article by raising the question many Ukrainian soldiers have been raising from not just a military point of view but from a political one: “Ob es sich wirklich noch lohnt, diese zerstörte Stadt gegen die immer neuen Angriffe der russischen Streitkräfte zu verteidigen.” The English translation is: “There is hardly any reason to continue defending Bakhmut from these repeated Russian attacks.”

It is only a matter of time before Ukrainian soldiers realize the struggle against the Russia’s conscripts is a fratricidal conflict. No less than eighty years ago, Ukrainians joined the ranks of the Red Army together with Russians to devastate Army Group Centre, mortally wounding the group in Operation Typhoon before obliterating the group once and for all three years after the start of the Operation Barbarossa in Operation Citadel. The joint effort of Ukrainian and Russians in the defeat of the Nazi juggernaut is a crowing achievement not only in the history of the workers’ movement but in the history of the world. It is only a matter of time before Ukrainians, who are already beginning to ask why they are fighting, especially in the city of Bakhmut, begin to take a keen interest in NATO’s war plans.

It is thanks to Texeira that Ukrainians are now uniquely positioned to examine those war plans in detail. Texeira therefore requires defense.

Due to the fact that the vast majority of the statements that American administrations relay to the American working public are lies, there is every reason to defend those who release information to the public, especially information that is critical to the exposition of those lies, notwithstanding the individual motives of the person responsible for the leaks.

No matter what the ultimate motivation of those responsible for the leaks, the overall public benefit the leaks provide in the exposition of those lies is so critical to the development of objective consciousness that subjective, personalist, ideological motives are absolutely irrelevant. The American working people, if not working people all over the world, have a right to know how pathological the lying truly is at the highest level of its government.

An aspect of the complex, manifold of interrelated processes developing over the social, economic, or political life of America is the existential threat the working people of United States faces in one administration after another, each one of which is full of lies.

The Biden administration exemplifies the pathological lying of the State par excellence. Leaks are crucial to demonstrating the depth of this existential crisis, as they reveal the vast chasm separating the truth and reality from lies and the imaginary. Staring over this enormous chasm everyday, the ruling elites such as Biden smile, laughing, eating cake, stuttering or shaking hands with the air.

In response to Biden’s laughing smiles and America’s existential crisis to which Biden gives face, the working people of the United States must build rank-and-file assemblies with a particular aim in mind, not merely the achievement of a sliding scale of wages. Through rank-and-file assemblies, Americans must petition the government for a redress of a grievance, namely, a declaration, declaring the transfer of jurisdiction from workplaces, universities or cities directly to the central committees of these assemblies.

These petitions are not an opportunity for the government to determine whether or not to grant the relief. These petitions are an opportunity for workers to discern whether or not the government is willing to continue its existence under the control of working people. Short of declaring the transfer of full, total, or complete jurisdiction to the power of these assemblies, there is hardly a day that passes without America’s deeply alarming existential crisis heightening to a boiling point.
